Publicity. Every moving particle has to be accounted for. And sometimes I just want to order a pizza and eat it off of the delivery person. But that's not happening anymore.

On a more familiar scale, I know your frustration. In proportions like those you must be facing, though, I imagine it's close to unbearable, no one looks away or gives you even a moment to yourself.
